Last month, I got an email from one of our Exoquad owners in Trondheim.
“Sigurd, I just completed a 15km mountain trail that I haven’t been able to do since my accident eight years ago. But I have some ideas for making the next version of the Exoquad even better…”
That email—and dozens like it from adventurers across Norway—became the blueprint for what you’re about to see.
The Exoquad 2.0 isn’t just an upgrade. It’s what happens when real users design their dream machine.
The Exoquad 2.0 is the result of real-world feedback from people who push their Exoquads to the limit every single day.
Over the past few years, Exoquad owners have been living the dream: conquering mountains, exploring forests, and reclaiming adventures they once thought lost. Along the way, they shared ideas for making it even better.
Here’s what they told us, and what we did:
What we did: We created a new aluminum chassis with improved design—more tube bending, fewer weld points, a larger cockpit, and repositioned side supports. Getting in and out is simpler than ever.
What we did: The expanded seating position now offers extra comfort for taller riders, space for a secondary battery, and a redesigned footrest with an integrated snow plow mounting bracket. Without making the Exoquad larger.
What we did: We installed a robust new high-performance electronic control system. Maneuvering is easier and more intuitive—plus it’s future-ready with over-the-air software updates and remote diagnostics.
What we did: We added a next-generation 48V lithium battery for extended range and power—even in tough Norwegian conditions.
What we did: There’s now a larger LED display, centrally positioned for great visibility while driving. It’s designed for future upgrades through our mobile app.
What we did: You get a complete road package: front/rear lights, brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, and reflectors—making road connections between adventures safer than ever.
What we did: Coil spring shock absorbers now replace air suspension—less maintenance and even better comfort over rough ground.
What we did: New terrain lighting with modern LED strips makes you more visible—even in daylight or low light conditions.
What we did: We introduced flexible left/right brake and speed controls with a range of adaptation options. This added option ensures confidence and ease of use regardless of your grip strength or abilities, making the Exoquad V2 more inclusive and user-friendly for riders with diverse physical needs.
What we did: Standard fatbike tires with bigger knobs give you longer durability, superior off-road traction, and even allow studded spikes for winter use.
What we did: More color options let you shine in your favorite color as you ride!
Every improvement in the Exoquad 2.0 came from someone who refused to accept limits—someone who demanded more from their equipment—someone who knew that adventure was still calling their name.
Mathias and I built the original Exoquad because nothing else existed that was both lightweight and truly capable off-road. That’s still true today. While others force you to choose between “goes anywhere” or “lightweight,” Exoquad 2.0 gives you everything—plus a lot of fun along the way.
