Essential Marketing Foundations

General guidelines for
successful lead conversion

1. Always answer requests through email and social media chats promptly!

Keep the leads engaged while they are warm and genuinely interested. If possible, collect their credentials like phone and email, and follow up with a good "nurture flow" of newsletter emails (you can use and translate our email templates, or create your own).

2. Try and schedule a demo as soon as possible

Once people have experienced the amazing capabilities of the Exoquad, it will usually "sell itself", regardless of price! For optimal effect, plan the test venue and, if possible, ride with the client in a second demo unit and learn more about their situation and what they long for. Engage friends and family to come along whenever possible. In many cases, the buying decision comes from the next of kin and not the client themselves.

3. Post regularly on Instagram and Facebook

(TikTok is ok too, but very often TikTok has lower lead quality). One story a day and a couple of Reels per week will be sufficient. We will provide video content and hashtags for you to use, but please find the correct hashtags for your particular country and language by translating the ones we recommend. It takes time to gain traction, but don't give up! Be consistent and you will be rewarded.

4. Think outside the box!

Reach out to rehab centers, disability unions, and organizations within the target group in your country. Every 4 weeks, arrange an "open demo-day" which can be supported by using the event function on Facebook, and targeted ads for the particular area you seek to find clients from. Even if a demo does not result in a sale right away, seeds are planted and awareness and presence are created for future sales. Get the dates and time out on different channels at least a couple of weeks in advance!

5. Don't be afraid to make a phone call!

It might be a bit uncomfortable at first, but this has proven quite effective for us (SMS campaigns are often more effective than email campaigns). When calling, be curious and see if you can find what you might have in common with the client. How do they solve their mobility challenges today? What do they seek in such a product? Create awareness about the value proposition that the Exoquad may bring to their life and how it can improve their sense of freedom and happiness! Learn the technical specs so you can answer questions correctly.

6. Build a good reputation through outstanding service

Word of mouth travels fast. We are a reflection of you, and you are a reflection of us! Strive for excellence and you will be rewarded!

7. Contact the media

Traditional media channels are great, but magazines or social media channels/influencers covering news and stories for disabled people are even better. If you have clients (Exoquad owners) with strong testimonials who are willing to participate, that might be the very best approach! It sends a very strong and believable message to interested leads that are still on the fence. Make your own client testimonials in your native tongue, too, if possible.

Tone of voice

We strive to keep consistency in tone of voice to make a recognizable wording that also has a very strong message that resonates with our client group. For inspiration, you can read the text on our website. You can also use Chat GPT to analyze www.exotek.no and ask it to make text for you in a post, blog, or for your website that is in line with our tone of voice and true to our value proposition.

Every time we put pen to paper—whether it's an ad, a response in an inbox, or a line on our website—we have the chance to make a difference. With our words, we can show that we understand, that we listen, and that we truly know what it feels like to be left out—and how liberating it is to reclaim that freedom.
