The Exoquad is first and foremost intended for people with some degree of reduced gait function. But it can be used by anyone, also people without mobility impairments. Our most common customers includes people with; Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Muscle Dystrophia, Myalgic Encephalopathy, Old age, arthritis in hips and knees, and so on. As long as you have problems getting to where you want to go, the Exoquad is the perfect tool to re-experience the joys and mental benefits of accessing nature and the great outdoors!

The Exoquad is made by hand in small quantities. Everything is welded and assembled in-house at our factory in Norway in a very labour-intensive process. It is indeed a high end product! Parts and components are top quality, (and as we all know): quality don`t come cheap! This however ensures a high level of reliability, and a minimum of maintenance. A long and very extensive R&D process have been undertaken to develop this product, with one goal in mind: “To be the very best in it`s category”! And don`t worry! Iteration and development never stops at Exotek Inc. The price for our first base model with 2WD is 179.000 norwegian kroner or about 16.000 euros at the current exchange rates. This may be subject to change in the future, and more affordable models (with more moderate capabilities and specifications) will come to market at a later stage.

From 2023 the lead time will be about 3 months from order to delivery. Exotek AS are still in a startup phase and we need time to streamline the production process, grow, learn and increase volume. As our organization grows, lead-times will become shorter.

The top speed will be about 15 kmh. That is more than sufficient for the Exoquads intended use as an uphill machine made to conquer rough terrain. We want torque, traction and immense power to ensure the highest level of accessibility! Increasing top speed is possible, but doing that will be at the expense of torque, power, traction and most important of all; safety.

The Exoquad has a 2300 wh batterypack, which can be expanded with an additional pack if needed. A fully charged pack will usually last for a full day of fun. Battery-range can vary with rider weight, outside temperature, hill gradient and throttle use etc.

Different rules apply for different countries. Make sure you are operating the product within national and local laws and regulations. In many cases one can apply and get dispensation to drive certain places that would normally be illegal for motorized vehicles. Make sure to investigate where and how you can ride it in your country/region. As of now the Exoquad is not “street legal”, but we are working on fitting it in to the standard of “electric wheelchair” to be allowed for use on pavement and certain roads at some point.
