Exotek is Norwegian company founded in 2020 by Mattias Storvestre and Sigurd Groven. The intention was to develop an electric all-terrain vehicle for the mobility impaired.

  • Mattias Storvestre

    CTO

    Mattias is Swedish but lives in Norway with his partner and two kids. Mattias is a flight mechanic and CAD-designer by profession and has extensive experience from the mobility-aid industry as a technician and product developer.

    Mattias also loves the outdoors and wanted his partner to come along for walks in the woods, camping and hiking. Since she lacked a product that could help her come along he he decided to make his very own design: “The Exoquad”.

  • Sigurd Groven

    CMO

    Sigurd is a physical therapist by profession, a father of five and an avid outdoorsman. After sustaining a T1 complete spinal cord injury in a mountainbike-crash in 2015 he started searching for an adaptive mountainbike that could get him up and about in all kinds of rough terrain with his family and friends.

    After trying several options he never found anything that he felt quite covered his needs in terms of accessibility.

  • Eelco Van Weerdhuizen

    CEO

    Eelco is originally from the Netherlands, but has lived in Oslo with his partner and 3 kids since 2004. The whole family is passionate about outdoor activities both during winter- and summertime. Eelco has a wide international business-experience and is our organisational and logistics talent! Through his professional attributes and shared passion for mountainbiking and outdoor activities, Eelco was the perfect fit as CEO and partner for the Exotek-team!
